WiLAN's Succesful in Patent Reexamination Process Over Wireless Patent 759
Canadian patent licensing firm WiLAN Inc (WIN.TO) said the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (PTO) validated most of the claims in one of its key patents, bringing a re-examination process that began in January closer to completion. Patent 759 is about Asymmetric adaptive modulation in a wireless communication system, a key technology may be relevant to many products complying with upcoming and established standards such as LTE and Bluetooth.
