A Whiter Shade of Pale reaches the Law Lords
This is the latest development in the ongoing judicial dispute between Procol Harum’s band members. After the High Court and the Court of Appeal’s rulings, the case has now been heard by the House of Lords. Matthew Fisher, who played the famous and compelling organ sequence found on the massive 1960s hit song A Whiter Shade of Pale track, claims that he is entitled to a share of royalties from 1967.
