 The superstar NY photographer Annie Leibovitz sealed a deal with Private Equity firm Colony Capital for loans to help her clear her financial situation. Leibovitz famous for her particularly recognizable photographs of stars and celebrities was at risk of loosing the rights to her 100,000 photos and 1,000,000 negatives after falling behind on payments to her previous creditor Art Capital with whom she could borrow up to $24m. Colony Capital is now her sole creditor and defines the new deal as a partnership with the artist, allowing Leibowitz to focus on her art while they will help her manage her assets.
