US: RealNetworks withdraws RealDVD and Settles with Hollywood
We learn that RealNetworks has agreed to terminate the distribution of RealDVD (its DVD-copying software launched in 2008) and pay $4.5 million to settle a copyright-infringement lawsuit filed by Hollywood studios. This comes two months after the resignation of the CEO and COO of RealNetworks.
