TV channel “Dave” looses battle to register name as a European trademark
The TV channel attempted to register its name “Dave” as a European trademark but was denied by OHMI the right to use the name “Dave” as a TV channel brand. OHMI welcomed the opposition from brand consultancy “Dave” and gave permission to use the name only in a strictly limited number of areas, including decorative magnets, stationery, pens, pencils, pencil sharpeners, erasers and pencil cases.
