Thorgerson on Pink Floyd & Album Artwork in the Digital Environment
The Financial Times celebrates Storm Thorgerson currently exhibited at the Idea Generation Gallery in London until 2 May. What makes Thorgeson special is that he designed some of the most memorable album covers ever produced. He is especially well known for his covers of Pink Floyd albums Dark Side of the Moon and Wish You Were Here. Thorgerson’s exhibition poses the question about the relevance of album covers in a now largely digitalized music world.
