TATA Steel, create Intellectual Property clusters.
The Economic Times, on 8th April 2010, reported that the the Tatas have launched a new push to reinvent innovation despite a rich tradition of technology to avoid playing catch-up with competition, a problem that has long bedeviled Indian companies. The country’s largest industrial conglomerate has created intellectual property clusters in Bangalore, Pune and Jamshedpur — places with the largest concentration of offshoots — where flagship companies will mentor associates in innovations and technological advances.
