Obama Photograph Case Settled

On IP-SHARING we often reported on the Shepard Fairey AP Obama Poster case (see HERE and HERE).

The lawsuit was about whether graphic artist Shepard Fairey was entitled to use an AP photo of then-Senator Barack Obama to create his now-iconic "Hope" posters.

We learn today that the lawsuit was dropped (probably after a confidential settlement between the parties).

From a legal standpoint we can only regret that we will not enjoy [...]
