The Associated Press announced that a trial date has now been set in Obama's poster copyright case (see HERE). U.S. District Judge Alvin K. Hellerstein said Monday that the selection of eight jurors for a three-week trial will start March 21 in New York. We already reported this dispute this year (see HERE). The artist Shepard Fairey used for his poster an AP photograph taken in 2006 when Obama (then a senator) was seated next to Clooney at a press event in Washington.
