New Head of Singapore IPO

BG TAN Yih San will succeed Ms Liew Woon Yin as chief executive of the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (Ipos) from June 1, 2011.

BG Tan, 45, served with the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) for more than 26 years, and has held various key command and staff appointments including Future Systems Architect, Commander, 3rd Singapore Division and Assistant Chief of the General Staff (Intelligence).
