Modern Warfare III: West and Zampella v Activision

 Electronic Arts Inc. (EA) will publish games by Jason West and Vince Zampella, the creators of Activision’s “Call of Duty” franchise and of top-selling video-game “Modern Warfare 2”. West and Zampella were recently fired by Activision Blizzard Inc. for breach of contract (after allegedly meeting with a rival about starting a new studio).

West and Zampella are starting a new studio called Respawn Entertainment. They will retain all the IP in their new games which will be distributed by California based video game corporation Electronic Arts.
