IndlawNews reports that City-based Lincoln Pharmaceuticals Limited (LPL) has won a patent for a novel nasal drug delivery system (NDDS) in India.

'The NDDS helps in arresting or preventing vomiting and nausea, through a new nasal spray system that could particularly help in chemotherapy induced vomiting, the company's Managing Director Mahendra G Patel said in a statement.

Presently in India anti-vomiting treatments are available in the conventional form of tablet and injection which take longer time to bring relief. But now through LPL’s new NDDS, the patient can get immediate relief.
