LimeWire Held Liable by US District Court (SDNY)

In a secondary liability ruling of May 11, 2010 made public today, U.S. District for the Southern District of New York, Judge Kimba Wood agreed with record companies (Arista, Atlantic, BMG Music, Capital, Elektra, Interscope, LaFace, Motown, Priority, Sony BMG, UMG, Virgin and Warner Brothers ) that LimeWire and its founder Mark Gorton were liable for copyright infringement.
