Lambretta to seek 10 million euros from Scooters India
The Economic Times on Nov 11, 2010 reported that the Italian two-wheeler maker Lambretta Consortium will seek claim of over ten million euros (about Rs 60 crore) from Scooters India Ltd following a favourable court order in Europe regarding their trademark infringement dispute. "Lambretta Consortium, the sole and exclusive owner and holder of the Lambretta trade name and trademarks, has today named Scooters India Limited (SCL) in connection with the unlawful licensing of Lambretta trademark rights in the European Union," the company said in a statement issued through Asianet.
