John Legend sued over Alleged Copyright Infringement

John Legend is a celebrated New York music producer (in particular Alison Keys) and an famous artist in its own right. Legend is being sued in New Jersey and accused of stealing another singer’s (Anthony Stokes) song called 'Where are You Now'. Stokes claims that he gave Legend his demo tape to listen to and that Legend ripped off his work and called it his own. 

PR Newswire says that the suit contends that Legend’s song, “Maxine’s Interlude,” which was featured on his Once Again album, is a striking resemblance to Stokes' song.
