JK Rowling Sued for Plagiarism ?

 AFP reports that J.K. Rowling, the author of the famous Harry Potter saga, is being sued in England (via the Publishing House Bloomsbury Publishing PLC) for plagiarism. The estate of the British author Adrian Jacobs argues that JKR copied part of Jacob’s books about the character Willy the Wizard. JKR instantaneously dismissed the allegations as "unfounded" and "absurd".

As copyright lawyers we know that ideas are not protected and there is a very fine line between ideas and expression which judges have to determine on a case by case basis. This line is more a difference of degree than a difference of nature and judges give regard to the level of concretization of an idea [...]
