Italian Competition Regulators Call for Copyright Reform after Google Settlement

The Italian case about a possible abuse of dominant position by Google is closed (there is another pending Italian investigation over alleged invasion of privacy by StreetView).

Italy's competition regulator (Autorita Garante Della Concorrenza E Del Mercato) has asked the Italian parliament to reform copyright law after accepting Google's settlement of a dispute with newspapers.
