On 2 March 2010, the Tel Aviv District Court issued its decision in Hoogle Ltd v Raviv (Civil Case 1379/06), on the copyright protection of classified ads. The dispute concerned two competing online directories for classes, workshops and courses. The plaintiff, the operators of Hoogle.co.il, claimed that the defendants copied the design of their website as well as the content of classifieds posted on it. The court rejected both claims.
