Growth for the UK Music Industry ?!
Interesting and somewhat counterintuitive figures just came out: the UK music business grew by 4.7% in 2009 according to PRS (see report HERE). Live music was up 9.4% while the sale of recorded music was flat. In contrast, computer game sales fell 11%, and DVD movie sales fell 10%.
