Great Firewall of China unmoved by Google's action: the practicalities
Upon Google's move to stop censoring its Internet search and news services in China and automatically redirect users of its Chinese site to the uncensored Chinese-language version of its Hong Kong site, the Wall Street Journal reports that Internet users in China began noticing the following changes: within the Hong Kong site, there are links to Google's search engine in both simplified and traditional Chinese, with the former looking much like Google.cn, offering links to services that are offered by Google only in Mainland China such as a free music search service.
