Google sued by Oracle over Allegedly Copied Android Code
The Register comments on the copyright lawsuit between giants Oracle and Google around codes for Android, Google's mobile operating system. Android is based upon a modified version of the Linux kernel (one of the most prominent examples of free and open source software invented by Finnish computer science student Linus Torvalds in 1991).
