The Fashion Industry Dreams of More Protection
Part of the US Fashion Industry is once again pushing for IP protection and testified in favour of a copyright bill in Capitol Hill. However, while most designers support the bill, the profession is divided. Christopher Sprigman, a professor at the University of Virginia School of Law, testified in opposition to the bill, arguing that it’s unnecessary and could cause needless litigation.
