Spicy IP reports that the following essay has recently been selected as the best entry in an internal competition organized by the Intellectual Property and Technology Laws Society (IPTLS) of the National University of Juridical Sciences (WBNUJS), Kolkata. The author, Subhajit Banerji, is a law student currently in the 5th year of the B.A./B.Sc. LLB. (Hons.) program offered at WBNUJS. He has also recently secured the 1st position in the 1st Franklin Pierce Law Centre Intellectual Property Law Essay Competition, 2010 (reported here and here) in association with National Law University, Jodhpur and has won a scholarship for the Intellectual Property Summer Institute in Concord, New Hampshire.
