The Superior Court of Justice homologated the Russian sentence regarding the Stolichnaya mark in Brazil, putting an end on the long-lasting dispute over the ownership of the mark in Brazil.

The dispute involved Plodovaya Kompanhya (corporation), Foreing Economic Joint Stock Company Sojuzplodoimport (government entity) and Spirits International N.V.

The Russian sentence, homologated in Brazil, was favorable to the owenship of the brand by Plodovaya Kompanhya, which acquired the rights from Foreing Economic Joint Stock Company Sojuzplodoimport.
