Change of Heart from Romanian’s no.1 On-line Community Site

Pursuant to the filing of several legal actions by the Romanian Musical Industry Association (AIMR) against Trilulilu, the two parties finally settled. Trilulilu is the biggest on-line community in Romania, with over 2.6 millions individual visitors per month. Among the services it provides are also those of posting and watching/listening musical video and audio clips, images etc, all of them subject to copyright protection.

Through the settlement agreement Trilulilu undertook to implement a fingerprinting technology until 30.06.2010, for the purpose of assuring a licit use of the audio-video products belonging to the record companies members of AMIR. Thus, Trilulilu intents to filter [...]
