Canadian Patent for Amazon on One Click Payment Method

According to Out-Law.com the Canadian Patent Office has just granted online retail giant Amazon a patent for a 'one-click' payment method for processing transactions (applying to customers who have already made payments via the site). Amazon was granted the patent following an intense legal battle in the country and despite the fact the payment system was deemed unpatentable by the European Patent Office (EPO) last year.
