BMG acquires Cherry Lane

BMG Rights Management (the music copyright joint venture between Bertelsmann and Kohlberg Kravis Roberts, the LBO fund) is acquiring Cherry Lane Music Publishing which manages the copyrights of Elvis Presley, Quincy Jones, John Legend, John Denver, The Sex Pistols and The Black Eyed Peas (among others).
