Very interesting project:

Columbia University's copyright lawyers have just created a website called 'KeepYourCopyright.org' (http://www.keepyourcopyrights.org) whose purpose is to provide useful information about copyright. In particular the project will help authors identify contracts that are particularly author unfriendly or too overreaching and provide a good idea of benchmarks and existing industry practice.

The site does not intend to provide legal advice but will be a welcome assistance tool for creators and will raise their awareness of unacceptable practices. It is a good reminder that authors should never give up their rights without resistance/negotiation. [...]
