ACTA – the rise of a “worldwide Internet Big Brother” ?
Worldwide Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) violations gave rise to a worldwide solution, entitled Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement (ACTA). Demonstrations across European cities, such as Paris and Munich, brought 16,000 people to the streets (according to Le Figaro) to protest against this new piece of regulation.
